Elf
The Fair Folk. The Wildlings. The Children of the Moon. They are referred to by countless names, but to most they are known simply as elves. This slender, long lived species is among the oldest still living on Ashua, having remained unchanged for millennia. Most elves take great pride in this fact, as there is a cultural belief that this unchanged form is symbolic of being closest in form to that of the divines.
While generally accepting of outside races, there is also a cultural tendency for elves for stick together, preferring the company of their own kind, even if that results in some other detrimental side effect. As such, it is not common to encounter elven communes, especially in large cities, where outsiders are nowhere to be seen.

High Elf Wood Elf Drow Abhorrent. Unwelcome. Daemon. To be a drow is to live a life of hardship in most civilized locations in Oscana. To be born a drow is to be an outcast, shunned to the outer edges of society. Whether it's true or not, the superstitious belief behind the birth of a drow is that sometime during the pregnancy, the mother was unknowingly visited by a Daemon, an evil denizen of the Pit Below.Remove these ads.
