The Suchan invasion of Kosa was their first real affair into proper warfare, as the Kosa forced prolonged and lengthy engagements. It started as the Suchan sent diplomats to the Kosa cities, wishing for recognition and trade, however the Suchan diplomats were either repulsed or killed as mere barbarians. The Suchan Khan, so enraged , ordered a full scale invasion and their destruction. The Suchan army of tens of thousands of primarily horse archers and cavalry lancers, overwhelmed the Kosa in the field. Although they were able to raid the countryside with impunity, the Suchan lacked experience to properly siege the Kosa hidden behind their walls. Over a decade the Suchan would invade, raid, and then return, learning each time. Eventually the Suchan were able to develop siege craft, and exploiting divisions they had studied destroyed the Kosa within a year as an overwhelming display of force.
