The Yusuko Dynasty was the last holdout in Izumo, an old dynasty which has been around since the fall of Izumo, thought themselves superior to the nomadic invaders. The Yusuko thought they could take advantage by ‘liberating’ the rest of Izumo, and achieve the hegemony they had been seeking for centuries. However, the Yusuko invasion was mostly incompetent, no longer the powerful empire they once were. The poorly led invading force met a small mostly Suchan force, where the Yuzhou heavy cavalry was isolated and destroyed leaving the infantry to be worn down by harassment from the Suchan horse archers.

The Suchan army, confident in victory, though only 20 thousand cavalry, then crossed the border into the Yusuko Dynasty, causing panic among the Yuzhou population. They marched largely unopposed, with Yusuko main force destroyed, eventually arriving at the Uusuko capital. By this point expert the Suchan were exported at sieges, quickly breaking though the decayed and worn city walls. The Suchan razed the capital, killing peasant and noble alike in their frenzy of destruction, with the Emperor's exact fate remaining unclear, having died in numerous possible ways. The remaining provincial nobility chose to individually offer their tribute, effectively bringing the Yusuko Dynasty to an end, with only a few stubborn lords in the mountains holding out.
