Magic Overview
Wood Magic is the use of Enrai by Mages to to manipulate and control wood, growing and twisting into attacks, defensive, etc. In addition Wood Magic is used to manipulate plants, trees, animals, and humanoids.
Strengths
Wood Magic is its strongest when surrounded by trees in forests or jungles, or other highly densely forested regions. Wood Magic can create wood out of the ground using seeds, which are rapidly grown, enabling attacks outside of forests, to smaller amount.
Weaknesses
Wood Magic is weak in urban environment, deserts, and mountainous regions.
List of abilities
Wood magic has a wide range of abilities, with lower ranked abilities able to be used at a stronger level by high ranked mages. Wood mages prefer mage conduits made from entirely organic materials.

D Ranked Vine Attack:the use of wood magic to take control of small vines using them as remotely controlled whips, directed by a mage conduit. The amount and dexterity of control depending on the rank of the mage.
C Ranked Wood Spikes: the use of wood magic to create rapidly protruding wooden spikes from the ground to impale or obstruct an enemy.
C Ranked Wood Grapple: the use of wood magic to generate wooden vines extending from the users weapon, which attempts to grapple upon hitting a target.
S Ranked Forest Envelopment: the use of wood magic within a forested area, to completely overwhelm a group of targets within by continuous attacks using local vegetation.

D Ranked Shrapnel Attack: the use of wood magic to shape bark into extremely sharp but durable enough pieces of shrapnel to be propelled at target using a mage conduit, most effective against unarmored targets.
C Ranked Thorn Barrage: the use of wood magic to create a barrage of sharp thorns to fire at enemies which then dig into the skin and are difficult to remove without causing further injuries.
C Ranked Poison Attack: the use of wood magic to inflict poison to a target.
B Ranked Fungal Infection: the use of wood magic to infect a hit target with a type of fungus which saps the target's vitality and strength.
A Ranked Wooden Ramage: the use of wood magic to create an endless stream of wooden spikes, branches, etc, along the path of ranged attack to overpower an enemy through attrition.

D Ranked Bramble Barrier: the use of wood magic to create a barrier of thorny vines out of nearby plants, shaping them into thorns if needed, useful to deter or impede attackers.
C Ranked Wooden Barrier: the use of wood magic to form a thick barrier out of strong wood branches and wood beams, moderate effectiveness against most firearms.
A Ranked Reinforced Wooden Barrier: the use of wood magic to form an extremely durable and dense wooden barrier, along with treating the wood to be stronger. The result is a strong barrier which can resist most firearms for a short time.

E Ranked Root Ambush: The use of wood magic to move the existing roots of trees and woody plants. The roots can be manipulated into slashing at a target, or trip targets as an ambush, or to trap small animals.
D Ranked Foliage Barrier: the use of wood magic to create a thick wall of foliage, trees, and vines, to obstruct and obscure passage, effectively hides a route to those not looking closer.
C Ranked Forest Stealth: the use of wood magic to prevent the creation of noise in a forest as the mage moves, can also be cast on allies. also interferes with scent tracking.

E Ranked Tree Climbing: the use of wood magic, to create temporary grips in trees for the purposes of climbing.

D Ranked Life Detection: the use of wood magic to detect the presence of living creatures.

E Ranked Accelerate Growth: the use of wood magic to increase the speed at which a crop grows, mainly for seeds and seedlings to sprout at this level. At higher levels, with daily usage, crop time can be reduced in half.
E Ranked Know Plants: the use of wood magic to identify any naturally occurring plants, recognizing its properties, but not though the name and advanced information of it without additional prior book knowledge. Also to determine if a plant or mushroom is safe to consume or touch.
D Ranked Plant Healing: the use of wood magic to repair damaged or dying plants or trees. Useful to recover harvest which might've been lost due to blight, drought, or disease.
C Ranked Vegetable and Fruit Preservation: the use of wood magic to slow the decay of vegetables, fruit, or other plant or mushroom based foods, to keep them fresh for several more weeks, and keep them safe to eat for up to two months.
B Ranked Increase Crop Yields: the use of magic to increase the amount of output a single plant will produce, primarily used on crops which are already difficult to grow, and are highly valuable.
A Ranked Forest Healing: the use of wood magic to restore an area of forest which has been damaged or destroyed by fire, flooding, etc. usually used to maintain natural preserves for beauty or hunting purposes.

B Ranked Treat Wood: the use of wood magic to alter wooden planks, lumber, etc, into being stronger, more durable, and to a degree fire resistant. This is useful for construction of taller and study structures where other materials are not economically feasible.
A Ranked Temporary Structures: the use of wood magic to create temporary structures out of existing trees, small buildings, palisade walls, wood spikes barrier, etc.

Self-Repair: the use of wood magic to enable a material to limited self repair, mainly for wood or cloths.
Medical
E Ranked Biology Sense: The use of wood magic to magically analyze the health of a target at close range.
D Ranked Poison/Venom Cure: the use of wood magic to cure targets affected by poisons or venom. Rarer and deadly versions require highly ranked mages.
C Ranked Accelerate natural healing and Immune system: the use of wood magic to affect creatures, enabling faster healing of most damage, and increasing the ability to fight disease and sickness.
B Ranked Heal Wounds: the use of wood magic to heal cuts, bruises, and internal bleeding.
B Ranked Cure Infections: the use of wood magic to cure and heal infections.
A Ranked Biological Limb Creation: the use of wood magic to create implants and limb replacements which can be surgically attached or implanted into a target. The parts are 100% to the normal capacity.
Communication
B Ranked Treat Paper: the use of wood magic to alter wood based paper, into lasting longer, slowing natural decay. Treated Paper can last two to three times as long as normal paper, useful to reduce the amount of lost books from decay. Though less critical since the invention of the printing press.
Logistics
C Ranked Forest or Jungle Traversal: the use of wood magic to push aside thick vegetation preventing passage, makes traveling through forested terrain significantly faster.

Anti Magic
C ranked Anti-Wood Barrier: the use of magic to create an invisible barrier of Enrai which prevents the use of Wood magic within, except those granted permission by the caster.
Anti Yokai Magic
D Ranked Entanglement: the use of wood magic to control vines, roots, and branches to fully entangle a human sized target, useful for restraining a target.
B Ranked Sacred Grove: the use of wood magic to create trees which give off a pollen which is toxic to Yokai.
Purification Magic
B Ranked Purify Forest: the use of wood magic to purify a forest of Enrai corruption,causing growth of flowers and plants in replacement.
Puppet Magic
B Ranked Wood Puppet: the use of wood magic to create a puppet, which is a wooden construct made of wood and fiber, with movable joints, capable of holding tools or weapons, able to take simple commands autonomously while near the mage. They are usually lightly armored, with equipment depending on their purposes. It can last as long as the wooden construct holds together.
