Water Magic Overview
Water Magic is the use of Enrai by Mages to control water, and its variety of sources and applications. Water mages mix a balance of offensive and defense, being equally capable of both.
Strengths
Water Mages are at their strongest when near bodies of water: lakes, rivers, seas, oceans; and benefit from a full moon due the moon connection with the ocean currents. Outside of this water mages will usually store water on their person, and more advanced water mages can tap into water in different sources: condensation in the air, water in plants, rain, and though taboo blood.
Weaknesses
Water Mages are there weakest in arid and dry environments due the lack of water.
List of abilities
Water magic has a wide range of abilities, with lower ranked abilities able to be used at a stronger level by high ranked mages. Combat water mages usually prefer light and flexible weapons as mage conduits such as bows, spears, etc.

Melee
D Ranked Water Whip: the use of water magic to create a line of water which can be manipulated as a much more controlled whip, allowing flexibility in attacks. Directed from a melee mage conduit. Stronger versions are larger and longer, doing more damage, and covering a greater area.
C Ranked Water Blades: the use of water magic to create a concentrated water blade, which acts as flexible extension a melee weapon.
C Ranked Melee Water Bleeding effect: the use of water magic to inflict bleeding damage, causing the target to excessively bleed from the wound.
B Ranked Water Wave: the use of water magic to create a large wave which can batter and destroy enemy formations and fortifications at short range.
A Ranked Omnidirectional Wave: the use of water magic to create wave which projects out from the mage in 360 degrees, hitting every target near the mage.
S ranked Water Storm: the use of water magic to create a localized torrential downpour.
Ranged
E Ranked Water Darts: small needle-like water streams, able to cause minor damage, annoyance, or distraction.
D Ranked Water Jet: creating a fast moving stream of pressurized water to augment a projectile which can disable enemies at short range.
C Ranked Water Cannon: the use of water magic to accelerate large spheres of water at medium range which explode on impact.
C Ranked Water Bolts: the use of water magic to fire pressurized high-speed water bolts at medium range.
B Ranked Ranged Water Bleeding effect: the use of water magic to inflict bleeding damage, causing the target to excessively bleed from the wound.
A Ranked Drowning Shot: the use of water magic to fire stream of water which aggressively grapples a target, attempting to drown them.

A Ranked Water Armor: the use of water magic to create a layer of water around themselves, giving protection from ranged attacks.
Barriers
C Ranked Water Barrier: creating a solid wall of water to absorb and slow incoming ranged attacks, most effective against fire attacks.
Interception
Water Whip Interception: the use of water magic to flexible field of water whips, capable of intercept and absorbing attacks, most effective against explosive damage.
Elemental and specific resistances
C Ranked Water Resistance: the use of Water magic to give a degree of resistance to Water attacks.
Support
Stealth
D Ranked Magical Mists: Transforming water into a thin mist which can obscure an area. Stronger versions create thicker and larger mist screens.
Self Enhancement
C Ranked Water Breath: the use of water magic to breath underwater.
C Ranked Water Walking: the use of water magic to manipulate the water under the mage, allowing mage to walk on water.
Detection
E Ranked Water Detection: the mage can sense bodies of water, both surface, and underground. Useful for finding wells. More powerful versions detect at longer ranges.
B Ranked Water Sonar Detection: Able to detect vibrations or break water surface tension, enabling detection of ships, submarines, and underwater Yokai. Stronger versions have longer range, and can better make out the profile of the disturbance.

D Ranked Magical Irrigation: using sporadic streams of water made from Enrai to water crops, or put out mundane fires.
Mining
C Ranked Water Extraction: the use of water magic to extract underground water from mines to prevent flooding.
Construction
C Ranked Mud Creation: the use of water magic to turn earth into mud to obstruct movement, more effective against calvary and vehicles.
B Ranked Dams and Bridges: the use of water magic to move water so construction can occur within a river.
S Ranked Redirect Rivers: Causing entire rivers to redirect by pushing the water to carve a new path through the terrain, far too difficult to redirect rivers more than a mile wide, with even smaller rivers being temporary.
Crafting Magic
C Ranked Water Jet Blades: using a precise stream of water, able to cut even metals, used for certain manufacturing jobs.
Medical
E Ranked Purify Water: converting potentially small amounts of unsafe water into safe drinking water. More powerful versions increase the amount of water purified.
C Ranked Stop Bleeding: the use of water magic to control the flow of external and internal bleeding, to prevent a person from losing much blood from an injury. Though stopping Internal bleeding is harder than external bleeding.
B Ranked Water Healing: the use of water to heal wounds, bruises, and internal bleeding; although the exact reason why this works is poorly understood.

Water Magic Acceleration: the use of water magic to increase the speed naval vessels and cargo ships.

Anti Magic
C ranked Anti-Water Barrier: the use of magic to create an invisible barrier which prevents the use of Water magic within, except those granted permission by the caster.
Anti Yokai Magic
C Ranked Holy Water:the use of water magic to create a special water which burns and damages Yokai when it comes into contact.
Purification Magic
C Ranked Holy Water Purification:the use of water magic to purify Enrai corruption, either by drinking or immersion.
Puppet Magic
B Ranked Water Puppet: the use of water magic to create a puppet from bodies of water, made of flowing mass of water, being the size of a person, which follows simple commands autonomously while near the mage. The Water puppet is mainly for attacking, but also used in fire fighting. It can only last for at most 24 hours.

D Ranked Water Purify machines: the use of water magic to purify dirty water into clean drinking water.
C Ranked Water Magic Pumps: the use of water magic to enable far better and more powerful pumps which normal steam powered pumps can achieve.
C Ranked Water Cooling and Steam creation: the use of water magic in machines for purposes of cooling or steam creation.
B Ranked Water Magic Propellor: the use of water magic to increase the effectiveness of a ships propellor, increasing the ships normal and battle speeds.
