The twelfth god woven by The Weaver from thread crafted from her very heart was Navendia, The Goddess of Fate. Navendia is the most enigmatic of all the Elder Gods. It is she who knows the Fate of all things, and she keeps her own counsel on this subject. Of all the Gods, only perhaps Rioris or Xistan might know what she looks like, for no mortal surely does. Whenever she manifests she is always covered nearly completely by a deep purple cloak that flows and billows around her. This cloak is sentient and is called Mystery and it is shot through with copper, silver and golden threads that form patterns upon the cloak. These patterns, however, are always shifting, always moving, never discernable. Of the Goddess herself, only the bottom half of her face and her left hand is ever seen, the rest of her is covered by the cloak of hidden in the shadows cast by it.
Navendia has no temples, no small houses of worship and no shrines, except in a few odd and strange places. If she has clerics, none have ever claimed to be such in recorded history. Despite this, a great many people still offer up prayers and offerings, usually by paying a visit to a fortune teller. Navendia's symbol is a circle containing eight rays extending out from the center in different directions and two overlapping triangles which form a six pointed star. As such Navendia's symbol contained the symbols for Berana, Yshirea, Seram, Xistan, Zolaris, Runalia, Rioris and Estarn. Perhaps it is more curious what her symbol doesn't contain, that of her opposite, Cendar, but also Arcana's Murien's and Karashiel's. Some philosophers have wondered if this means that Fate has no power over Chance, Balance, Magic or Nature.
