Ashes of the Past

Not much is known about the War and events that lead to and occurred in the War that has become to be known as "The Trials". Who started this war is relatively unknown but the result of the Last Great War is continually felt to this day. A bio virus was unleashed killing much of the human population, mutating or infecting all animals on the land known as the Trial of Ashe. The response by these nations to stop the plague and save their populations would become known as the Trial of Fire. If these actions caused the massive earthquakes that has been come know as the Trial of Earth it cannot be said but this trial did cause the wide spread flooding across the world forcing most of the survivors to flee to Islands across the planet known as the Trial of Water. Yet even after 235 years the Trial of Ashes has yet to end. The year is now 235 TA.   Ashes is about survival, and it is unknown whether the monsters lurking on the continent or fellow humans are the bigger threat. Can you stand up against the darkness and lead humanity into the light, or will you be consumed by it?
