A Word To The Wise
This campaign has the potential for some very high power levels. However, we are playing for the story. Not mechanics. I encourage you to take things because they fit your flavor or your story, not because they are mechanically 'broken' or insanely good.
Your character's story and decisions, their ascent to becoming a renowned and respected or feared being who hears prayers is a long and possibly turbulent one. Lean into your story, and don't be afraid to talk to your GM about things you'd like to happen. You will have less fun if you attempt to pick mechanics and power game. Relax - it's going to be a wild ride.
