Zardic is a fiercely competative man, an underlying motivation would be to be recognised not for status but achievements and power. Often takes jests or taunts as direct challenges and will remember them, stive to meet or surpass the challange givers expectations often without realising the subtle realisation of sarcasm and taunt. If he believes the challange is within his power "realistic" will jump at the action.
