The Coinspire Merchant Guildhall
The Coinspire rises above the Trade Ward like a domed jewel—its white marble facade veined with gold, with massive columns carved to resemble scales balancing coins and scrolls. Its great central dome is inlaid with mother-of-pearl and silver leaf, glinting like a full moon in daylight
An ornate domed building in the trade ward where powerful guild leaders, foreign envoys, and noble traders meet. Wealth is power here—laws are debated, contracts forged, and bribes subtly passed.
Show Spoiler Hook: A high-stakes auction for a magical artifact is being held here. PCs are hired to protect—or steal—it.
Inside, sunlight refracts through colored glass, casting rainbows over polished stone floors. Gilded statues of ancient trade founders line the hall, each holding tools of commerce—quills, ledgers, ledgers, or ships-in-hand.
Security is subtle but absolute:
- Silent Watchers—stone constructs disguised as statuary—activate at signs of violence or unsanctioned magic.
- Ward Sigils glow faintly along the baseboards—protection from divination, teleportation, and illusions.
- The Guildguard, elite mercenaries in merchant livery, patrol with scroll-rods that bind thieves or aggressors in contracts of paralysis.
