Military action
The Creator allowed things to reach a boiling point. The female god began to gather both lesser gods and Elementals to her banner, as she wanted to protect those who hadn't been subjugated by the Chaos Gods. The merchant god didn't directly help the female god, but he did provide her and her allies with materials from other Realms and Planes and had the Elementals working for him run interference against the Chaos Gods. The golden-eyed god saw the female god's hypocrisy and condemned her. He sent waves after waves of his subordinates to take down the goddess. The lizard god seemingly didn't care for the conflict; however, while he did fight any forces of Order that came his way, the forces of Chaos didn't receive interference from the lizard god. As this conflict raged on, the Creator got bored and hated the fact that this is what his creation was boiling down to, so he came up with a devious plan...
The golden-eyed god was traveling in through the Realm of Opposites, trying to gain more followers when, out of nowhere, the female god came and attacked him without provocation. After parrying a few blows and knocking her to the side, he golden-eyed god asked the goddess why she had attacked him. The goddess said nothing and proceeded to continue to attack him. Eventually, the golden-eyed god tired of this attempt at his life and incapacitated the goddess. He dragged into the Realm of Souls and shouted out for the Creator to ask him what he should do with the goddess as he did not want to kill, but he also didn't want her to harass him constantly.
The Creator came to the two gods, as it favored them the most out of the other gods. The Creator asked the goddess why she had attacked the golden-eyed god. The goddess calmly told the Creator that she resented the golden-eyed god, as he had forced many lesser gods and Elementals under his will in order to become stronger. The golden-eyed god, angered by this insult, pointed out that the goddess was essentially doing the same thing by accumulating followers under the name of protecting them from enemies. The golden-eyed god asked if she considered him an enemy.
The goddess calmly said, "You oppress, While I liberate. Hands of iron and strength Rule you, While I am a mother to all. You roam freely, Destruction reigns in your wake, But I have borders Where life blooms Amidst winter's springs. Order lives with me; Chaos breathes from thee. Separated by strife And pure enmity."
The golden-eyed god simply stared at the goddess in confusion, and with this moment of confusion, the goddess broke from her bounds and escaped. The Creator told the golden-eyed to prepare to fight, but the golden-eyed god didn't want to. He had his subjects to worry about and fighting would only cause strife for them. However, The Creator explained that the golden-eyed god had no choice but to fight because if he didn't then his people would suffer an even worse fate. But the golden-eyed god was not so keen on simply giving up. He would fight, but he would fight with the intention of trying to save as many people as possible.
With this in mind, the golden-eyed god search for two beings in existence. One was the warlike and violent reptilian god, who named himself Kulxukan. The golden-eyed god found Kulxukan at the edge of existence, searching for The Creator in order to fight it and show that he is the strongest in existence. The golden-eyed god told Kulxukan about the goddess' declaration of war against himself and asked the reptile god if he could not participate in the oncoming battles. Kulxukan told the golden-eyed god that he would not do anything for anyone till they proved their strength. And so, the golden-eyed god wrestled Kulxukan for a very long time, never gaining any advantage but never losing ground either. This impressed Kulxukan, so he told the golden-eyed god that he would try and stave off his battle lust for as long as possible, during the war but he would give no guarantees.
After that, the golden-eyed god went inwards, towards the center of creation where many elementals and minor gods lived. There he found a large palace situated between the realms of Earth and Water. The palace was very ornate and covered in many glimmering minerals. At the top of the palace sat the god that the golden-eyed god searched for. The merchant god, shin, sat in a room of scrolls and art. Ledgers were the decor of the floor while the walls and ceilings were ruled by pictures, rugs, tapestries, and small lights. Though Shin's form was hidden by fine cloth and an ornate hat, his singular white eye looked at the chaos god with curiosity. The golden-eyed god asked Shin for assistance in the upcoming war, but Shin told him that he had already entered into a contract with the female god that was preparing to fight the golden-eyed one. The chaos god did not attack Shin and instead told him that he hoped that Shin would survive the coming fights. When all preparation was made, the two gods, one of order, one of chaos, met close to the center of creation. The golden-eyed god had thoroughly prepared his subjects, but he asked the goddess to not fight. He knew that only strife would come from this, but the goddess did not listen. She saw the golden-eyed god as only an enemy, something to be stamped into the ground so that she may lay the groundwork for something even grander. And so, the war began, and for a thousand years, all of creation was engulfed in a war that would never truly end. Atrocities and losses made both sides into monsters. The golden-eyed god lost most sense he had and truly embraced Chaos, becoming Dorchadas. The goddess, for whatever sense of morality she had, let it go and embraced Order, becoming Alyna. All this, at first, pleased the Creator somewhat. Something interesting had finally happened and he got to see it with his own eyes. But as some of his personal favorite creations were destroyed and the war seemed like it would continue into infinity, the Creator got quite bored and angry. So he came up with a plan. He went into the center of creation and found a small mammal. He called them rats and enjoyed watching them spread over the lands. With a wave of his many hands, he created a realm where no god could exist. He created the Mortal Realm, a culmination of all the Realms of Magic into one singular thing. It was both chaotic and didn't make sense half the time, but it still had rules and fundamental laws, like gravity and energy. He took the rat he had and began to change. He rewired its brain to store higher thought patterns. He changed its musculature to be bipedal but still allow it to go on all fours to be faster. He finally gave the rat a small soul, and with that, every living organism in the Mortal Realm received a soul of their own. Every plant, microbe, fungus, coral, and primitive animal received one. Some died horribly as the soul was too strong for their bodies to handle, but most new life took the power well. Some even gained sentience on their own without the Creator's help. In the Realms of Magic, every god stopped as they felt their power drained considerably by the Creator's actions. And the War of Chaos and Order stopped, and the Age of Mortals began.
