Lolth's Haven

A small, hidden island tossed in the waves of the dark sea. While a completely normal albeit isolated settlement on the surface, it won't take visitors long to notice something a little different about this mysterious island; the sky is pitch black, no matter what time of day or night. The residents of the island are a subdivision of drow, elves known to dwell beneath the surface of the earth partially due to their sunlight sensitivity, hence why this eternally dark habitat is known as their 'haven'. Little is known about this particular settlement as they have very little contact with the mainland, with no visible port or other way to link them to other kingdoms and settlements. The geography of Lolth's Haven is fairly rocky and mountainous, with a tall central mountain crowned by a temple to the drow's main deity, Lolth. They attribute the success of their people and the mysterious darkness of the island to this deity, and all the inhabitants participate in worship. Headed by High Priestess Eleanora and Arch-Priestess Selena, the island contains many tributes to their religion including statues, the temple and 4 towers that mark the edges of the coast.
