Dörfmettor
"Dorfmettor; the city's came by its name as bluntly as is the style of the Dorfish lords, Dorfmettor, the place where man and dwarfs meet"
Dorfmettor is the capital of Reldorn and its largest city. Notable for being one of the few cities in the North to have a mixed population of dörfs and humans. It's origins as a market town set up outside of a Dorfhold influenced the eventual name "Dorfmettor" literally "Dwarf Market".
The city is relatively young, the Dorfhold itself being post-Arumfall in construction only 600 years old, and the human market town outside only developing over the last two centuries. Its wall remains an impressive construction for its small population and is of superb dorfish-make. The combination of its central location, well-fortified position and rich bounty of ore made the city a natural choice for the Throne of Reldorn.
