Kaito gets left behind by his parents during firework show and Elijah finds him.

During the new years eve of 1909 Kaito's parents took him to the city to see the fireworks, however he left him behind and ran away. For a few hours he stayed in the city, well into the new year when everyone had left. At that moment a man took him in, pitying the young boy freezing in the cold all alone. Later this man became a father figure for Kaito.
