Human

One of the great species of the First Age created by Terrus, and gifted with much of his magical expertise. They also possessed great ingenuity and invention, which allowed them to overpower the other races in the First age, triggering the war that ended the Age.  During the Second Age they are robbed of their magical abilities when Terrus is defeated and sealed. This makes them vulnerable to intense xenophobic retaliation for generations. None suffer this more than the mixed breeds, and most o these species are often victimized by genocide. They dig deep carving out a humble existence until late in the Second Age when Terrus breaks free and reengages the fires of industry and war in the hearts of the starving kingdoms of man. During the Third age, man dominates the surface world with only pockets of humanity existing among the floating islands.
