Dwarves

The sturdy masters of the mountains. Children of Terrus who were born in the First Age, and tasked with creating the prison that held Terrus at the end of the First Age. They then were tasked as his subterranean keepers and throughout the Second Age they were progressively corrupted and poisoned until they no longer spoke to the other races and reemerged when Terrus was revived as forgemasters for the Anvar militaries force. They built great machines of war for Terrus and fueled the Human resurgence into the Third Age. During the Third age many of the Dwarves were betrayed by humans seeking to create more Shaedrings. Most have either fled deep into hiding or exist in pockets aboard the Uvaran Islands of the Third Age.
