Megalovis (ˈme-gə-ˈlō-ˈvis)
Their heads are always in the clouds, it is up to you if that is of value.
The descendants of the lustrous golden Aries, the ram giants. The megalovi are a relatgively harder, small giantkin whom are well known for their giant horns, fluffy hair and fur, and stout form, relative to the other known giantkin.
Physical Description: Like their progenitors, the megalovi have the quirk of being an all-female people, reminiscent of rams. They bear wooly hair and fur of a variety of white and earthy colours, though rarely also bear gold similar to their ancestors. This hair often merges with fur along their back and neck and provides decent protection to their head. They bear massive horns that often reach lower then their shoulders just as their hair often reaches down to their knees. Similar to satyrs. they have a small tuft as a tail and their lower legs are primarily coated in wool and ends in two durable hoofs. Their skin often comes in a variety of tones similar to rocks, mainly shades of browns and grays, though rarely also shades of black or reds are also seen depending on the environment the megalovis has manifested from. Unlike the aries they come from, they bear humanoid faces and are bipedal though do have a gait that can prefer using their knuckles at times when their wool is particularly heavy and matted, though this posture also allows them to more easily smash their horns into objects during moments of frustration. Their horns and fur often resulting in short but tough frames that often need large amount of food to upkeep or else their horns cause them to be stuck in place if they can no longer hold them up.
Society: The most noteworthy and memorable part of megalovi interactions is their attempts to vent frustrations and grievances having not changed at all and still mirroring that of their aries ancestors, smashing anything they see fit with their horns and treating their head like a bludgeon, including attempts to bludgeon eachother if particularly frustrated. This is often a more worrisome spectacle due to their size though it's not often one megalovis can perform any meaningful action to hurt another due to their wooly hair and neck. Otherwise, they are known as particularly relaxed and reserved individuals who do not have too much reason to go far beyond their current home, and are often avid farmers due to their flat teeth.
Relations: While they usually keep to themselves, despite their large size, their temper can often be revealed to be a short fuse, often leaving them getting into arguments with others that one would consider not worth worrying about, such as goblins or baulz. As such the perception of any megalovi group can vary differently from particularly calm and collected nomadic farmers, to particularly noisy and easy to anger people who become argumentative in the face of being mocked.
Beliefs and Religion: While they have not been seen to have any particular preference to any god or religion, most megalovi has ended up living within brigandine lands and as such adopt whatever is considered most reasonable to follow and worship, though rarely hardship can make them choose more obscure or odd deities.
Adventurers: While megalovi are known to roam and can be rather nomadic, they are not ones to adventure nor do they prefer getting into scuffles and conflicts. The few who do end up travelling usually end up as sturdy warriors or craftspeople, and while they have nothing that would hinder them in learning magics, they often are not particularly interested.
