Tenacitat
General Tenacitat Iraenox, commander of the Iraenox Legion is the third son and eldest Son of the Blood, born to
Diractusta of Iraenox. Tenacitat led successful incursions against dwarven forces and made advances in gaining territory for the dark elves, even controlling the passages all the way up to the dark elf side of the Entrance to the Dark Caverns in the Deep Spiral.
Fortunately, Gen. Tenacitat disappeared from military and social matters in AH 1994 probably a victim of poisoning or assassination as is common for dark elf leaders.

In order to secure her fertility, Diracusta enacted an ancient arcane ritual of sentient sacrifice, killing her eldest son of the blood on the altar of Ligeoa as an offering to the insane godess to cultivate her favor and ensure that she would have female offspring of the blood. The ritual was conducted in secret on the High Altar of Ligeoa with all members of the bloodline in attendance and lasted four days.
Key elements of the ritual include excrutiatingly painful flaying of the sacrifical victim, and an atmosphere of intense dread and fear, as the sacrifices would continue down a predetermined order through Diracusta's line until the godess indicated the sacrifice was sufficient to intervene on the High Priestesses behalf and grant her female children. Fortunately for Diracusta and her descendants, Diracusta's choice to select her most highly prized and competent descendent of the blood as the the sacrifice stemmed the bloodlust of Ligeoa and minimized the bloodshed in her line to the least lives sacrificed.
It is not known if Tenacitat agreed to be the sacrifice for his mother's fertility or if this act was carried out against his will. There is only one living witness to this event, Tenacitat's younger brother of the blood, Adenshur Kenghym, and he has only referenced the event obliquely to his closest friends and intimate acquaintances.
