Hounds of Tindalos

Eldritch hounds who inhabit the transdimensional space between worlds in which the weave exists.  It is not clear if the Hounds live in the same space as the weave, or if they live in the weave itself.
Hounds of Tindalos are pack animals who physically resemble standard dogs, but this is a purely a matter of physical resemblance of the males of the species.  Hounds of Tindalos are distinctly other, and their physiology is unlike any common animals of Arrhynsia.  They exhibit pack behaviors and hunt specific targets, speculatively individuals that they have scented in their territory which they appear to define as the inter-dimensional spaces which are used by wizards of conjuration to move material and personnel.  They will only attack others when they interfere with the pack's hunt.  Most data we have on the Hounds comes from survivors of attacks who did not engage in the conflict when others around them were attacked.
Each pack appears to be led by an alpha female which is physiologically completely unlike the beta females and males of the pack.  Initial observers thought the alpha female was an entirely different species, as they are much larger and are more classically eldritch-like in appearance bearing no resemblance to a hound. Dominant females resemble a six armed land going gastropod with an exoskeleton and razor sharp teeth.
The Hounds seem to be able to use acute angled surfaces over 6 inches in length as a opening into this plane.  They are able to turn into a white mist as they pass through.  Strong winds seem to be able to dissipate the mist and keep the hounds from materializing.  The Hounds are vulnerable to all forms of physical and magical damage.
