Cormaeum Academy

The finest finishing school for Consorts amongst the Dark Elves, the Cormaeum Academy was equipped to train young men of the highest rank in the skills required to effectively perform their required functions in the political landscape of the dark elf clans.   High clan consorts are highly valued compared to other males in the society, and alliances are frequently forged through buying, selling, and trading consorts between clans. As such, certain minimum expectations must be met by a high clan consort. They obviously must be skilled in pleasing a female and adaptable to accommodate her preferences. They are required to be highly literate, and have skills in entertainment outside the bedroom. They are also given extensive training in religion, law and protocol, and a sound foundation in business, mathematics, finance and construction. They are taught basic magic, and those who show aptitude in wizardry are identified and channeled into special training and apprenticeships which increase their value. All students at the Academy are trained in basic weapons use, riding, and care of their mounts. Some clans also require further military training of their young males as it is common for sons of the priestesses of high clans to go into the military of their clan after their terms as consorts end.   The Cormaeum Academy is a boarding house, and fees include food for the student and any retainers. The program has an extensive grooming, sports and conditioning program and students typically emerge from the program in top physial condition and attractiveness to females.   Lempe of Iraenox, later known to surface dwellers as Adenshur Kenghym, attended the Cormaeum Academy as did two of his brothers.
