Jaaf's Leather Pouch

A leather pouch about the size of a small book. Whatever is put in it will stay in position exactly the way it was put in until the pouch is opened agin. This is a magnificent little piece of magico-technology, where the closing of the pouch completes the circuit of a thin electrum coated platinum wire that is hooked up to a crystal wehere the spell is contained. Completing the cirquit then activates the spell. Pouches like this are used to transport fragile contents, they come in many shapes and sizes.
Significance
Its invention has certainly made things easier, but it's not the greatest invention ever made. In the story specifically though, Jaaf uses it to store the Cup of Prosperity, which holds quite a lot of significance.

Raw materials & Components
The pouch itself is made from leather, then there is an amethyst crystal containing the spell and the wire running throught the pouch and through the lid. There is a lining of a thin leather that separates the wire and crystal from the transported goods. The cirquit is closed with a platinum rod that serves as the clasp. The crystal is enchanted with a spell that stops all motion. It has to be reapplied every few years though.
