Goddess of the Soil

Divine Domains

The goddess’s domain comprises of all "dead" nature such ass rocks, sand and the very soil we walk on. Sometimes the water is also attributed to her.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Her colours are warm, earthy brown tones, black and grey.   Her symbols are various crystals, rocks and precious metals.

Tenets of Faith

The goddess of the soil symbolizes endings, closure, death but she also gives birth. Her soil, lifeless as it may seem, is the foundation for all living things. Everything that lives, all the plants and animals, spring from her. It is the cycle of coming from the earth and returning to the earth once life is over. A constant give and take of one big cocious.   The Lady is wise and calm, an unshakable force to pray to for stability and prosperity but also one that helps with grief and sorrow.

Holidays

The Night of the Goddess is celebrated in mid winter when it's coldest and except for the pine trees nature is sleeping. (add date) This night honours the Lady of the Soil and is used to remember that even though the god is in deep slumber, the goddess is still watching over them. This holiday takes place during the night, fires are lit and there is ritual dancing and prostration where the elves lay on the ground completely nude and feel the earth. This is done in a circle around the fire but usually only priests and riestesses take part in this activity.   The Day of Marriage, which is the major Holiday of Nature Dualism is celebrated at the beginning of Spring (add date here). The day not only celebrates the Marriage of the god and goddess but also the beginning of new life. The celebration contains ritual singing and dancing as well as a great feast.
