The Hero of The First Era
As the sole surviving intact myth of the first era, this story is often seen as the single most important to the history of all nations the world over, as each country has, as a tradition, their own version of the myth, which is often viewed as the creation myth, and is widely accepted by most religions as fact of faith. While the myth itself contains very little in the way of describing the creation of the world, religious leaders the world over have little to no issue providing those details, often with their god as the one who did the creating.
In the first Era, the world was created. Wether by accident or divine providence, it matters not. What matters is that the world, once unpopulous, boomed with activity, and soon a kingdom arose. The kingdom ruled over the world for millennia before tragedy befell the kingdom in the form of an unknown eldritch horror. This horror from beyond the stars ravaged the kingdom, from east to west. Before the kingdom were to fall, a great hero arose from the common folk, and with him the people themselves fought to save the kingdom. With a spear that radiated divine light, the hero waged war against the horror from beyond the stars. The battle is said to have lasted for one hundred days and nights, but of the final night, the hero battle weary struck the final blow to the creature finally ending the nightmare that ravaged the once prosperous kingdom. Before the creature perished, it spoke in a voice that no mortal should hear, and gave a prophecy of events to come.
"At the end of every Era, Tragedy and Strife will fall. Heroes will rise and vanquish. Chosen heroes of past and future will converge at the beginning of everything. Out of Time. Out of Space. All will become none."
