TUSHORA (tu-sho-ra)

Tushora is a large continent that spans the North & West axispheres by the Polar Sea in the north, to the east by the Jeshura Sea, to the southeast by Tropical Nations of the Albean Sea, and the south and west by the Tropic Seas. it is the third largest continent in the world of Aretz, slightly larger than the continent of Lavantia. Tushora is the home of the famous Speran nations, whose exploits affected the continent as a whole in many ways.

Geography

Tushora has a massive land bridge that connects it with South Tushora on the Panos border, placing that land entirely within North Tushora. The continental coastline is incredibly long and considered irregular. There are several islands off the continent's coasts that are considered apart of Tushora. They are the Baramas, Taicos, Greater Tailles, Lesser Tailles, the many thousand islands of Talomubia, the Newlands, and Emeraldland. The continent can be divided into four regions with each one have many subregions: the High Plains stretching from the Gulf of Telagio to the arctics of Cadia, including the Great Mountains and The High basin of Farnia. The flat plateaus of the Cadia barrier in the northeast, including the Arclappian Mountains, the coastal plans along the Jeshuan seaboard, and the Rodia peninsula. There are various sources of fresh water found throughout Tushora via different lakes, underground seas, rivers, oasis, and the edges of the coastlands.

Localized Phenomena

Due to the massive amounts of supernatural interactions within Tushora, it is not uncommon to see localized phenomena occur. Veilwaves are a famous phenomena that is seen in parts of northern and southern Tushora, being a tourist attraction year round. Hot springs with healing properties are found throughout different parts of Tushora, with legends about their formation affecting the history of each area. Influxes of supernatural vortexes are located in various parts of Tushora, forming from the result of supernatural interactions between empowered factions.

Climate

Tushora is a very large continent that extends from the north of the Arctic sphere to the southern tropical axisphere. Cadia Barrier and Emeraldland has temperatures that are cold ranging from 10 to 20 °Kalus, with central Emeraldland being composed of a large ice sheet. This extends throughout parts of Cadia, although most of Cadia has much warmer temperatures. Climates in the coasts of west Spera are far warmer with average temperatures ranging from 50 to 70 °Kalus over course of a year.

Stretching from the eastern coasts has the most varied temperatures with a season mix of warm to cold temperatures, including temperatures in the extremes in many cases. The midwest lands of Spera has most warmer temperatures with very little cold temperatures with exceptions in several regions. Western Spera is similar to the eastern coasts except for the lack of cold temperatures, outside of a few odd occurrences.

Southern Tushora is very tropical with very humid temperatures found throughout, with no extreme cold temperatures found here. Although there are cool temperatures found in Southern Tushora. Rain patterns vary across Tushora as a whole with the coastal areas receiving high amounts of rain year around, with southern Tushora getting the highest amounts of rain.

Fauna & Flora

There are various types of animals that are found with Tushora of different varieties found in different habitats, including massive beasts that often roam the uncivilized areas of Tushora. Behemoth is a massive famous creature that is the source of different legends, often seen as peaceful yet dangerous whenever roused. Dragons of different types are also found in Tushora, with their interactions varying from different accounts.

Natural Resources

Diastone is a highly valuable natural resources found within the Diastone Mountains of Spera, which are harvest to build different buildings of special significance. Wood, metal, and stones of different kinds are also found throughout Tushora. They are commonly used for everyday purposes such as building projects or making household items.
