ROSSIFLORA (ros-si-flo-ra)
Overview
The Rossiflora is the company that owns the exclusive Elegant Delights tavern on the island nation of Telaria, near the shores of the nation of Kerrosano. Led by Matarik Seerik, Rossiflora is an controversial group in that they allow certain activities that are seen as at least deviant by the wider society, yet they are tolerated due to the connections that Matarik maintains. Rossiflora is well-known among the powerful for their unique connections, with some preferring that they continue to operate while others would shut them down first chance they get.
Structure
Mataria Seerik is the leader of the Rossiflora, who sets the agenda for the entire group as a whole. She is a Lerith woman of considerable means, and tends to keep the well-being of her group in mind always. She also is a woman of considerable skill as both a martially trained person and a spymaster.
Terland is her chief of security who is responsible for the security for the Rossiflora, and ensuring that the interests of the group are protected with force when necessary. He is a Gallian of considerable strength.
Kemund is the bartender of the the Rossiflora, and the steward who keeps the day-to-day operations of the social group running smooth. He is a human man with considerably attractive features.
Sondei is a Lerith woman who works as an assistant for Mataria, and as a informant who gathers information for her mistress to use. Sondei is a dark haired woman with attractive features that she uses to seduce patrons.
Toskind is a human mage who is the head of the occult branch of the social group responsible for the magical inventory that Rossiflora has secretly collected overtime. In public, he operates as a record keeper of the group as a front for his real job of research and application.
Culture
The culture of the Rossiflora is the most controversial part of the organization as they are much more permissive of behavior & beings that would never be allowed openly in most places in Lavantia. It is not usually to see courtesans openly engaging with the patrons who visit. Denizens from otherworld also can be found here as employees working under Mataria, with some of them having a half-fiendish heritage living there openly as residents. This has led to patrons engaging in behaviors with these denizens that they would rather not be exposed in the open for fear of reprisal & scandal from their kinsmen. The influence of the Rossiflora has also led to the rise of the subculture called the Forbis, which Mataria subtly encourages as a way to gain more influence in the wider societies of Lavantia.
