PANTARA (pan-tara)

Summary

The Pantara are an bipedal race of felines that are found throughout the world of Aretz, and are one of the main beast races known to have formed their own civilizations. They are known for their loyalty, passion, physical capabilities, and at times temperament. Pantaras are the natural allies to the Saurids as both kinds have good diplomatic and social relations, although there were times where this was tested. Pantaras have an incredible streak of sheer determination in achieving their goals.  

Members

There are four clades of the Pantaras that are counted as members, each with their own unique characteristics. The members of the Pantara race are: Aryhs: Aryhs are large pantaras that have generally are muscular, round ears, and different variations of brown to white fur. They also have a dark hairy tuft at the tip of their tails. Males are also usually larger than the females. Male and female Arysh can grow hair, with the males developing a prominent mane. They are second in size to the Tigrus. Yagara ("overcomes prey abound"): The Yagara are pantara notable for their distinctly marked fur that features different shades of yellow to tan, covered by spots that changes to rosettes overtime. Some individuals even develop black fur. Yagaras possess a powerful bite that can pierce hard bone surfaces. Yagaras are third in size to the Aryhs. Tigrus ("stripped arrow"): Tigrus are large pantara with powerful muscular bodies, large heads, a long tail, and fur with different shades of orange. They are the largest members of the Pantaras. Pardus ("spotted"): Pardus are pantaras with different shades of yellow to golden fur with dark spots patterned in rosettes. They have slender muscular bodies with males being heavier than females. They have long tails. They are adaptable felines who are excellent climbers.
