Uredo Court
"Worthy...no...how could you be worthy? You're all killers."House Bandor, bannermen of House Romalla, has long since been charged with the overseeing and protection of the Lac Miroir Seigniory. In 605 3A, Baron Vaurien Bandor lived lavishly off the hardwork of his charges, though his charasmatic demeanour and weight of office still garnered him respect and adoration amongst many of his people. Vaurien was blessed with overseeing many hardworking farmers, including a handsome young man by the name of Phillip Uredo. Seeking to delegate the task of protecting the land to someone he thought beneath him, Baron Vaurien concocted a plan to both ensure the people would continue to revere him and allow him to shirk his duties. Taking Phillip and other willing, brighteyed citizens, Vaurien had them knighted, granting them a rundown Manor House outside of town to act as a base of operations. Charging them with protecting the area of Lac Miroir and upholding the peace, Vaurien named Phillip and his band the knights of Uredo, framing it as a large honour. Vaurien's plan worked; although as time went on, he realized it worked a little too well. Whereas before the people revered him, instead they began to sing the knight's praises, hailing Phillip as a brave hero and a champion of the people. Vaurien's jealously reached a peak when a fair maiden he had been wanting to wed expressed her love and adoration to the very boy he had knighted. And so Vaurien hatched a separate plan. Inviting the knights of Uredo to Bandor Manor for a feast in their honour, Vaurien proposed a toast to the hardworking men and women that had served the land faithfully in both body and spirit. To Phillip and the knight's horror, they realized too late that their drinks had been heavily poisoned, with Vaurien laughing as he looked upon the now doomed knights. In desperation, each knight tried to flee the manor, stumbling into the township and begging any passerby for aid. But any citizen that knew what was happening were too afraid to act. One by one, each member of the knights succembed to their fate; their bodies scattered in and around Champview. It is said that Phillip managed to ride on his faithful steed all the way back to Uredo Court, all the while swearing vengenace upon House Bandor and the cowardly citizens he had given so much to protect... Today, Uredo Court stands decrepit outside of Champview, a grim monument to House Bandor's past and the effects of betrayal.
