Nargishlant

Nargishlant is situated on the southern shore of the the Bay of Carmalden, between Cattino to the east and Satuliri to the west. Where Ankarvos curves around the south edge of Cattino, it meets Nargishlant in a thin wedge of land, Kathanakambris, with the majority of the southern edge backing onto the kingdom of Vorteshny. The proximity to the Nargishlanar is said to be the reason Forenai of Kathanakambis was so vehement in her presentation of Lanar as inferior beings to humans. The southern borders of Nargishlant occupy land that both Satuliri and Vorteshny lay claim to and both nations are somewhat more favourable towards the Lanar than the Kathanakambrins because of the role the Nargishlanar play in preventing outright war between the two countries. Many rivers run through Nargishlant and the low-lying land between them gives rise to the swampy marshes that lend their name to the forest. The biggest river is the Kathanambrí, which rises in the mountains in Kathanakambris, and flows northwards, where it splits into the delta known by the Nargishlanar by the name 'Aeadenke Iliani', the Delta of the Stinging Whips, owing to the tall reeds in the area, which are so sharp they can cut exposed flesh deeply.
