Winged hope

On the continent of Aueix it is very common to see the people wearing cloaks through out the year. They have heavy ones and lightens but everyone wears them. Now in the eastern part of the continent of Aueix is a religious group called the Followers of Avion. These followers are easily spotted throughout any community that they live in. They all wear a different cloak one that is known as Winged Hope.
These cloaks are in the shape of bird wings. The colors, and craftsmanship shows the wealth and status of the person wearing them. First off the finest ones which are white with gold are reserved for the Priest. The next ones are for the teachers of the religion and they have white with silver. Now for the rest of the Followers of Avion the cloaks can be a mix of many different colors, such as blue, green purple, yellow, red, brown and black.
They can have any combination of these that they would like but no white, sliver, or gold that is the rule. However, it still shows wealth in the details and quality of the cloak. These cloaks are generally made from wool or very heavy cotton for winter. For the summer cloaks, light cotton, linen, or silk for the wealth.

Manufacturing process

Many of the priest and teacher cloaks are made by hand due to the use of sliver and gold thread. While most of the other cloaks even high end ones are made by machines.

History

While Avion Kaith was still wandering the eastern part of Aueix the first cloaks were made by his closest followers. They made the cloaks to honor his wings. So these cloaks were white, with silver and gold markings mimicking Avion Kaith's own wings. Soon others followers continued the trend adding more colors and more elaborate details. A year after Avion Kaith's ascension the four closest followers set down the rules for the wings. It still took another 5 years to become something that every follower of Avion wore.
