Pontifex
A Pontifex, is the admin for the religion Followers of Avion. This is a religion that is on Aueix that is most prevalent among the hybrids.
The Pontifex is the person who is in charge of taking and keeping the local chapter’s records and keeping things running smoothly for the Priest. Once a year all of the Ponifex of each chapter gather together to discuss what has happened in their area. This meeting is to see how things are going. If there are any troubles or problems in the chapters and ways to help them. Discuss any new ways to keep records, to keep things consistent, or discuss new ways to preserve the records. Such as new magic or materials that can be used to make sure the records last. Tips and tricks that they have learned in how to help their chapters run a bit more smoothly. They also pick a new Head Pontifex each year.
The Head Pontifex’s job is to pick and set up the next year’s meeting. They are also to travel to each of the chapters making sure things are going smoothly or help address any trouble.

Career
Qualifications
Must be able to read and write. Knowing two languages is helpful but not needed.
Must be a member of Followers of Avion that is in good standing.
Willing to travel if needed.
Career Progression
Starts our as an assistant Pontifex learning the ropes. Then after at least five years can move up to a Pontifex in charge of their own chapter.
Payment & Reimbursement
A Pontifex is paid by the local chapter’s head priest. They are paid bi-weekly.
Other Benefits
Followers of Avion pay for the Pontifex’s health care, and housing. They get three weeks off each year. They get their travel expenses paid, which is good if they are chosen to be the Head Pontifex. In some areas the Pontifex is also in charge of the local town, or village’s libraries and records.
