Nocturnal Hybrid

In the southern part of Odoa, there is a strange group of hybrids. During the day, they are quite many of them prefer to sleep. They appear to be weaker than normal hybrids, plus their nails are shorter than most. If they are out in the sun, they wear eye protection, citing that the bright sun hurts.
  That all changes as the sunsets. Hybrids of this group suddenly become more active. The weakness that appears in the day is no more, and they are strong. Some are even stronger than a normal hybrid. Their nails grow and are said to be some of the sharpest out there. The light of the moon is all they need to see. It is even said that they see better at night than most hybrids do during the day.
  Then, as the sun starts to rise once again, their strength dims. Their eyes start to hurt the higher the sun rises. Lastly, their energy fades.
  These hybrids are known as Nocturnal hybrids.
  Since their appearance, the communities that these hybrids live in have taken an interesting approach to their transformation. In some villages, these hybrids are employed by the village leader to keep the village safe during the night. Some businesses employ them to keep track of their wares at night. Other businesses have started running a night shift of their operations. Some craftsmen have found that these hybrids can create some very beautiful pieces that cannot be created during the day.
  In one village on the southeastern coast of Odoa, a group of smiths work with these Nocturnal hybrids to help create the metal that they work with. It is a very long process and goes through the night. One group sets everything up, and the Nocturnal hybrids take over as the sun sets. Their eyesight helps in making sure that the fire is at the correct temperature to get the metal. Once the sun starts to rise, the first team comes in to finish the job. The metal that is coming out of the smiths of this coastal town is very sought after. It is due to the team effort between the Nocturnal hybrids and the day crew.
