Mad Cinnamon Crash
Mad Cinnamon Crash is a condition caused by eating a large amount of cinnamon from the Scarlet Kaylen tree. Symptoms of the Mad Cinnamon Crash are hallucinations, hyper activity then a fever followed by the loss of body functions for a day to a week. After the return of body functions it can take up to two months to shake off the hallucinations. In rare cases it can cause death. The elderly and very young are more likely to die from it.
This cinnamon from the Scarlet Kaylen tree is routinely harvested, however it is not for food. It is harvested for the medicinal properties that it has. These are only effective in small doses.
Those that study different conditions and illnesses have shown that Mad Cinnamon Crash only happens when at least half a stick to more is consumed in one sitting.
This condition is easily avoided however, each year there are several cases of Mad Cinnamon Crash, due to adolescences and young adults encouraging peers to eat it.
