Flight of Hope

Flight of Hope, the founding scriptures for the religion Followers of Avion. It is a bound book written from the writings and saying from Avion Kaith, the only known winged hybrid. Three of Avion Kaith’s followers compiled the book and published it shortly after Avion Kaith’s disappearance.
  This original document is located in a large meeting house in the town of Ormrick where Avion Kaith was said to be born. It is kept under lock and key and the head high priest is the only one that can access the document. Although, it has been copied by under priest who then spread the copies to the other branches of Followers of Avion. It can be found in their meeting houses. There have also been many partial copies made. These are often found with in the homes of the followers. It is also given by those trying to spread the word.

Purpose

To spread what Avion Kaith said. To help bring people together. Encourage kindness and helping of others. To accept differences and celebrate them.

Historical Details

Background

When Avion Kaith was traveling around the continent Aueix he would write letters back home to his parents, or to those that raised him. In these letters he talked about what he did, the people he meet and how he was working to bring them together. Also while he traveled a small group formed. There were four of these that stayed by Avion's side no matter what happened. Three of these four wrote down their travels, what Avion Kaith said and did. However the full book that is known to this day was completed after Avion Kaith disappeared.

Public Reaction

When the Flight of Hope was first presented it was mixed reaction among his followers. Some thought that it took away from what Avion Kaith was trying to do. While others accepted it and started telling others about it and Avion Kaith,. They were glad to have something they could show those that were skeptical about the whole thing. It was several years before all of the Followers of Avion fully accepted the Flight of Hope.
