Asolas

On the continent Imor, lies a city named Asolas. It is one of the most visited cities on Imor. Asolas has something for everyone. There are plays, many different sports, lots of local food, history and lots of culture. What sets Asolas apart from other large cities is that it is built on the largest overland trade route in Imor. Next is that it is a city state, they govern their own with no connections to the different kingdoms around. Next is that there are six distinct districts. A central district with five surrounding the central one. The central district of Asolas is called the trading post. This is the original part of the city, the oldest part. This part of the city has a very unique culture not seen anywhere else on Imor. Next the five other districts that surround the trading post have been named after different kingdoms. Three of these districts are Ogesiaminor district for the Ogresain kingdom. Little Kolia district for Kolia, and The Vrosta district for the Vrosta kingdom. Each of the districts have a culture similar to their namesakes. However unlike their namesakes they get along with each other. Now why it is popular to visit is to be able experience many different cultures in a short time period. Another reason is because many like to explore the Asolas history along with the history of the trade route.
Asolas is a city state and governs its self and the surrounding area. It started out as a small trading post along the route. A place to stop, refuel and rest for the evening. Over time it grew into a large city. It is also a city that has been known to take in many refugees. Everyone that comes into the city must follow Asolas law and rule no exceptions.
