Firstborn Elfs

Now numbering less than a thousand. The Firstborn are a strange sight. While physically looking no different than a regular elf, apart from perhaps a slightly less quick reaction speed, the Firstborn are so known because they were the first “batch” so to speak, of elfs created by the Dracaena. Serving mostly as storytellers and librarians, Firstborn are unique in the fact that they are unable to biologically die. While Firstborn have been know to die by magic, and blades as much as any elf, the eldest Firstborn, still alive, Draven Til’ Havana, claims to have served directly under Archmage Cael in the First Elfen War, before he was put in status, putting his age at over 1300. Tragically, Firstborn do not share this trait with their children, and efforts are still ongoing to figure out the difference between Firstborn and regular elfs...though efforts have slowed down in recent years at the request of the Firstborn community.
