Barktarians

During the year 4720, in the southern tip of the Shackles, a revolution engulfed one of the largest ports of the Shackles, Port Peral, led by a number of dogs! Speaking high ideals such as “Every pupper a doggo” and “You have nothing to lose but your collars” These “Barktarians” lead a revolution against their human masters, which, along with some choice druidic allys, resulted in vast number of them becoming awakened. As a result, while rare outside their native Shackles, plenty of Barbarians still exist near waterways, plying their trade, either looking to reignite the revolution, or simply exist within the massive chaos that is pirate politics.   Male Names: Alexander, Fydor, Grigory, Ivan, Vasily , Barkchev, Female Names: Nechayeva Stebleva Svalova Glukhova       Standard Racial traits: +2 Dex, +2 Wisdom, -2 Int. Genetics and Reproduction

While most barktarians are able to reproduce the, ahem, standard way, there has been quite the push in recent years for more barktarians to switch to Aldren Elf developed, chemically enhanced pregnancy methods, witch slow down the incredibly rapid natural ageing of Barktarians

Growth Rate & Stages

Originaly, Barktarians aged extremaly fast compared to most other races, reaching adulthood around 2, middle age around 7, old age around 10, and Venerable age around 13. Due to magical chemicals that are ususaly added to the reproductive cycle, these numbers have, as of recently, dubbled, with most barktarians  reaching adulthood around 4 years of age, and most reaching dubble-diget lifespans. The current record for ageing is Sheamus , at 30 years of age.
