Volatile Elements
The Fundamental Elements are combined in various ways to form all materials and energies in the known universe, sometimes also referred to as complex elements.
When directly combining two Fundamentals, the first tier of complex elements is achieved. These elements are also known as the Volatile Elements due to the high amounts of energy they contain. The Volatiles, like the Fundamentals, are commonly used by or created through magic.
Notably, Volatiles take on properties similar to those of the opposing Fundamentals to their basis elements.
The list of Volatiles includes:
- Steam; Fire and Water (resembling Air)
- Ash/Smoke; Fire and Earth (resembling Air)
- Ice; Air and Water (resembling Earth)
- Sand/Glass; Air and Earth (resembling Water)
