Schism of the Peoples

When the Peoples of Argeth first took shape, they lived together, united under the same worship of the great Founders. They lived in among the mountain valleys of Southern Tibur, safe from all that could harm them, and plenty to sate every desire. As the population grew, the mountain valleys could no longer provide the plenty they had always done. So, slowly but surely, people began to settle the lower lands, away from the safe valleys. The dwarves refused, instead entrenching themselves deeper into the mountains. This was known as the First Division.   Over time, the dragonborn, closest to the Founders, began to feel superior to the people of the lowlands, demanding they pay tribute. The dragonborn had access to metals and magic, which the people of the lowlands did not, so they were unable to mount any resistance. As a result, many people fled further across the plains of Tibur, and began to settle the coastlines. This was known as the Second Division.   While the people descended from the mountains, and fled across the plains, the desire to roam ignited in the hearts of the elves, while the orcs searched for ever-harsher environments to challenge themselves. This was known as the Third Division.   Then the Peoples, once united under the same worship, were now divided across the lands.
