Investigation of Terawa Sanctuary

The party quickly make their way through the Moonlit Vale just as the sun begins to rise, beginning their investigation of the haunting massacre that took place at the Sanctuary, a large temple complex surrounded by the mountain's embrace. Looking over the bodies and the way they are arranged around a circle painted in blood with a seven pointed star at its center, the party determines that it may have been a ritual to summon something into the Material Plane. They also find that one member of the temple, likely a Shrine Maiden, had gone missing, possibly kidnapped. Speaking with the guards now stationed outside of the Sanctuary, they also learn that the first Hunting Party had indeed arrived at the Sanctuary about a week prior, but had gone missing following their initial investigations. Learning of the possible location of their camp, the party discovers a grizzly scene--4 adventurer's corpses, and a lone survivor, Peter du Bastion, now turned feral Oni. Miraculously, through the efforts of Teddy and Aya, they manage to turn him, saving his life.
