The Pre-Imperial Age

The Pre-Imperial Age is the name given to the period of time from the first written accounts of Havlic civilisation to the foundation of the High Empire in year 1. Pre-Imperial years are counted backwards from year 1. For example 20 years before year 1 would be "-20" or "20 B".   The time before Havlic civilisation is known as "the Before Times"; this is rarely discussed in Arkodia due to the false notion that the Havleans were the first advanced civilisation despite clear evidence that points to the existence of Aikhsi settlements on eastern Arkodia from thousands of years before he first Havlean records. Not to mention the ruins found underwater south of Himixia from even earlier.
