Arithal

Arithal is based on the Raven Queen, and on Osiris. She is the goddess of death. Her realm does not extend to the dead or the undead. It is her job to collect souls upon their deaths and take them to Raquilid. Her followers are those who wish a quick death for themselves or others, such as the terminally ill. She is often aided by black dogs and ravens. She herself takes the form of a Kenku. She's rather shy around the living as she doesn't readily know how to talk to them.

Divine Domains

Death, Balance, Necrosis, Murder, Poison, Plague, Neutrality, Burial, and Mourning.   Arithal, goddess of death and balance, is in charge of necrosis, murder, poison, plague, neutrality, burial, and mourning. She is responsible for collecting and then delivering recently-deceased spirits to Denythar, the plane of the dead. She is worshipped mainly by mourners and those who wish a peaceful death on themselves or others; her clerics and paladins are often seen as mercy killers.

Granted Divine Powers

Arithal grants divine power to those among her followers who she deems worthy of her gifts. The following spell lists are to be used in trading out any ill-fitting spells from the Death Category spell list at the DM's discretion.

Cleric

At each indicated cleric level, you add the listed domain spells to your spells prepared. Once you gain a domain spell, you always have it prepared, and it doesn't count against the number of spells you can prepare each day.   If you have a domain spell that doesn't appear on the cleric spell list, the spell is nonetheless a cleric spell for you.

Paladin

You gain access to the following oath spells at the levels specified in the spell table. Once you gain access to an oath spell, you always have it prepared.
