Eidolon's (EE-doo-lawn's)

When the Primal Chords finished The Great Song the creation of Ardia was complete and its energies broke apart. These scattered remnants of power took the form of beings called Eidolons. The history of the Eidolon's is gleaned only in fragments across Ardia. What is known to be true of there existence is a subject of debate amongst scholars familiar with them. The following is the generally accepted consensus of the there history.

The Eidolon's were clearly the progenitors of all mortal kind. It is believed that these beings understood the cosmic energies of the Primal Chord and could use its power to perform great wonders of creation. Within there creations they bestowed the gifts of the Primal Chord giving rise to arcane magic and longer life. It is at this time in history that the people of Ardia truly flourished. They created immense cities, wonderous tools and artifacts, and built glorious monuments to the Eidolon's who had birthed them. These great works have been all but lost to the world as Ardia was but a newborn babe in an unfathomable void which lurked even greater beings who saw and envied the Ediolon's power.

It is theorized the the Eidolon's must have been wiped out during the devastation of the Astral War but this is not known as fact. There are some who believe that many Eidolon's survived well into the 2nd age and have since left the Material Plane. Regardless of what the truth really is, the Eidolon's have clearly vanished from Ardia.
