Circle of the Nine

The Circle is made up of three triads of Divine beings who's purpose is to shield Ardia from cosmic threats. They are honored and worshiped by many across Ardia and are the greatest source of divine power in the world. Churches of the Nine may venerate one or several of the Circle though most tend to pay homage to one of the three triads known as the Aeon, the Nahnvor, and the Yuun. Churches of Yuun are still sanctified and protected across Ardia despite the vile nature of the triad. It is not uncommon for known members of these temples to be ostracized.

 

The Aeon

  Edon the Amaranthine Flame - Lawful Good
Courage, duty, honor, progress, and strength. These are just a few of the traits that the Amaranthine Flame values in his followers. Those that wish to preserve the greatness of all mortal kind and strive to push them to new heights will have Edon's favor. His domains are: Order, Knowledge, and Light.   Indar the Adamantine Protector - Chaotic Good
Indar is the hammer that will break all enemies. These are the words often spoke by followers of the Adamantine Protector. Indar favors those that wish to protect others weather by wits or strength of arms it matters not. If you have the heart of one who would defend others against tyranny than surely Indar smiles upon you. His domains are: War, Trickery, and Forge   Naris the Weeping Mother - Neutral Good
It is said you can feel the Weeping Mother's presence during a gentle mid-summer rain. Her tears washing away all hate and evil from the world. Naris weeps eternal for all the pain and suffering of mortal kind and blesses those that aid the downtrodden with her favor. She is admired by many clerics and her love has inspired the creation of many churches and holy orders of healing in her name. Her domains are: Life, Peace, and Twilight.  

The Nahnvor

  Zyaos the Fathomless Void - Lawful Neutral
To seek all knowledge, to understand the law of all things, to share that knowledge freely. These are what the Fathomless Void desires in their followers and will guide any who seek the truth of all things. Their domains are: Order, Knowledge, Arcana.   Azara the Verdant Gale - Chaotic Neutral
Fierce winds wiping your face, the unbridled forests and untamed wild lands. Those who find comfort in the harsh wilderness and the unforgiving joy of self-sufficiency will find Azara the Verdant Gale pleased with your prowess. Her domains are: Tempest, Nature, and Life.   Odite the Silent - Neutral
Those who find themselves often dancing with death will sometimes witness the Silent one gazing upon them. Many who meditate on Odite's being will find no comfort nor sorrow in his presence. He is neither fair nor cruel and will guide any who sit on the precipice of life or death to their appointed place. His domains are: Twilight, Grave, and Death  

The Yuun

  Utarr the Deceiver - Lawful Evil
Truly the master of all lies. The Deceiver reviles the unambitious and the dull witted for his is a silver tongue dripping with unseen venom. Those who seek power without regard nor remorse for lesser beings may find the favor of Utarr's cold venom in their veins. His domains are: Order, Knowledge, and Trickery.   Obus the Cruel - Chaotic Evil
Only the strong can and should survive. Suffer not the weak for they do not deserve to exist and should be punished for it. Rampant blood lust and insatiable thirst for strength are the hallmarks of one who would be favored by Obus. Be wary of the favor of such a cruel and unyielding God, else he strike you down while you beg for his power. His domains are: War, Death and Tempest.   Drita the Selfish - Neutral Evil
Rules are for the weak who shackle themselves to mediocrity. They demand to be bent or broken when they do not serve your own goals. Take everything and give nothing. These are often traits the followers of Drita adhere to and may be favored with power should it serve her own ambitions. Her domains are: Knowledge, Arcana and Forge.
