Coal-watch

Common device used to hold and transfer Coal between coal accounts and coal-watches.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The Clock-watches are an indicative of how much the Coal Arcosian Bank owes the owner of the Coal-watch.

Gears are linked to five clock hands that indicate the amount of Coal that is owed by the bank(see Coal).

An amount of Coal can be transfered from one watch to another with the transfer port behind the watch. The owners simply have to line the ports together and turn clock-wise the clock that is transferring. For transfers up to a Stack it can be done manually, however for higher amounts, Arcosians usually use a mechanical transfer to speed the transfer along.

Manufacturing process

Manufactured Solely by the Coal Arcosian Bank, the design is branded and cannot be used by any other entreprise. Copying the design has resulted in the death of the engineer in the past.

The quality and material that it is made of is often refers the social class the Coal-watch belongs to. However, some Coal-Watches have been passed down from generations and generations.
