The story of Gambling Hansel

Gambling Hansel is a fairy tale about a gambler named Hansel that follows the Smiths three wishes ATU tale type. The version I am using is the 1857 version of Grimm's fairy tales. The story starts with the character Hansel getting visited by the Lord(god) and Saint Peter where they ask for a place to stay the night. Hansel agrees and then when asked to go get food for the Lord he gambles the money away. He is then told to go get food again and does not gamble it away. Hansel is rewarded with three wishes after he helps the Lord and with those wishes he ask for dice that will let him win any gamble a deck of cards that will never let him loose and a tree with every fruit that if someone climbs up cannot climb down until Hansel allows them to do so. Hansel then uses these items to start to take over the world and Saint Peter ask the Lord to punish Hansel and send death after him to stop Hansel's actions. Death then goes to Hansel where Death is convinced to climb up the tree Hansel owns and then cannot climb down for seven years during which no one dies. Saint Peter then goes to the lord again begging the lord to stop Hansel. Hansel is then demanded to let death down and then death kills Hansel. In the afterlife Hansel is not allowed into heaven or purgatory and is instead let into hell where he gambles with Lucifer and continues to win. With his new army of devils Hansel breaks into Heaven and beings to break heaven itself. Saint Peter goes to the lord one last time asking for Hansel to be thrown down where the Lord agrees shattering Hansel into a bunch of soul fragments that live on in vagabonds today.
