Meric Voyen

A medic who was involved in an attempted cue that happened less than a month back and is in this platoon as punishment.
  Okay so I do not know what kingdom you are using for the coup but what I got going on is that the guy who initiated the coup was a General or something of several armies, in order to reed out loyalists in his armies he created small cults dedicated to himself where the primary membership were people most susceptible to his will and orders. My character Meric saw these as just groups of brotherhood and comradery and joined them despite his captain ordering his soldiers not to. When the time came to get rid of the loyalists in an ambush by sending out everyone who had not joined these groups, the General who had respect for Merics captain held him in reserve while leaving them under watch by another group of soldiers to make sure they did not find out of the betrayal just yet. When the team finds a defector of the traitors he tells them of the oncoming massacre and its here that Meric reveals he had joined one of the groups, he was outcasted by his team for this, but before he set off they were jumped by the traitors who were chasing the defector, Meric and his team fight them off but sustain casualties including a young recruit who succumbed to some kind of dark magic infused poison which Meric could not heal him from. Blaming himself for all of this he stays with the group to receive punishment from the Kingdom.
  Got a deal from a fairy where he gained the ability to never hurt anyone but heal whoever he wants to harm.
