Kanilapists work with a client to create a healing candle that will heal their ailments.
They use a variety of herbs, flowers, plants, roots, stones, gems, oils and other items mixed in candle wax then made into a candle. Each ingredient is carefully selected to help with specific ailments.
People come for a cure for their headaches, to help calm an unsettled baby or to cure their winter gloom.
