Bear Tart

In much of the Aswarian Empire a comfort food known as Bear Tart is much beloved. It is made by crushing hedgehog mushrooms, acorns and nuts into a powder which is then mixed with a little honey and water to make a pastry. Some berries (fresh or dried) and some seasonal flowers are mixed together and added on top with a drizzle of honey before being baked over a hot fire. In some areas small chunks of drunken goat or burrata cheese are added towards the end of the baking.
History
While celebrating during the festival of the gods, there are often competitions for creating food to honour different deities. This was one of the winning dishes and spread rapidly through the land with variations to the dish occuring naturally.
