Kudit/Sořso/Cubit (ku-dit/soɾ-so)
'Little Cubes! Little, Bright, CUBES! I was surprised when they knew my language but it doesn't matter! LITTLE CUBES! I'm sorry for my excitement but it just seems so strange, there aren't many small beasts in the The Archipelago of Seasons, so seeing these people just warm my heart, finally, someone who won't kill me! Okay okay okay. They seem to be little cubic creatures of neon colours, similar to the Hoirasi Frond ferns found nearly everywhere in Rora. First time I met one of these little creatures they popped out of their huts through a trapdoor roof, they just seem to be tiny humans. Tiny, fishing humans.'

Basic Information
Anatomy
A small creature with a cubic shape, about the size of a standard Rubix cube. Their colour matches that of the Hoirasi Frond fern which help protect them from the spring radiation.
Growth Rate & Stages
A Cubit does not grow and were instead created by Seiryu/Soriu from picked Hoirasi Frond ferns which were replanted.
Ecology and Habitats
Cubits did once live exclusively in Rora where they were made, but have since moved to other areas of the The Archipelago of Seasons, most frequently Toro. They are sapient creatures that live in little elevated Ainu-styled huts with walls made of painted Rora wood and rooves with piled Butterbur plants. These rooves act as trapdoors which are opened during the summer months when it gets somewhat hotter in Rora, as the dark trees absorb the heat, though the cold winds remain somehow.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Cubits have no need to subsist, but do it anyway to enjoy the pleasures of Rora.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Civilization and Culture
Average Technological Level
The Cubits have straightforward but tiny tools for their lines of work. A Cubit who is an Runecarver/Řeiso will have a pin as their carving tool made out of the metal from asteroids with the associated elemental metal.
The cubits have also invented a particular ship used in their fishing. As they are situated next to a river or even the large strait, fish is one of their primary food sources; even one fish can feed cubits for a month. However, their size won't allow them to catch the fish independently, so they made an impressive fleet of Rora wooden ships. In the middle is a large arch connecting two armoured platforms. On the top of the arch is a cabin with a winch in it operated by the captain. A piece of bait is winded down from the arch and into the water to attract the fish. Then the fish surfaces, the Cubits will shoot the fish with tiny needles tied to silk which act like harpoons and suffocate the fish in the air, bringing the fish home for the feeding time.
Major Language Groups and Dialects
Cubits are fluent in all sorts of languages, mainly from Asia and Europe.
Culture and Cultural Heritage
Cubits' culture seems like most of the other residents of the The Archipelago of Seasons, though they have one thing which sets them apart, a time of feeding or as they call it 'Kagnomkid'. When the ships come home with a fish
History
There is an old children's tale depicting the birth of the Cubits.
'Once In the black forest where the plant of colourful waves grew
And the Dragon of the East was lonely
He decided he would make new friends, as his old friends where in different Islands.
And so from a bit of that colourful wave
He made One Cubit
And then Two Cubits
And then A Whole City of Cubits
And then a whole Country
Some even landed in Toro
Until there was too much to handle
So the Dragon of the East made a building out of the trees and the butterbur leaves for rooves
And then he made Two Buildings
And then he made Three Buildings
And then he made A Whole City, where the Cubits now live.
Soon the Cubits went into each house, one by one.
They married
They feasted
And They lived
And Seiryu was not lonely.'
This is of course a simplification and does not mention their use within the The Archipelago of Seasons(location:83725920-2bbc-4fe1-8d6f-209c83da68a0). The Cubits have found uses as simple workers of the @[The Archipelago of Seasons, often working in small and tight spaces. These allow them to be Mechanics, Runecarver/Řeiso, Explorers and Helpers. Cubits are also incredibly fluent in multiple languages, so are used as translators. It is of said to be friends with a Cubit as they are good helpers in the field. Cubits are also a fishing village, using a special ship to catch individual fishes to feed and entire city.
