Currency in The Archipelago
There was no actual currency within The Archipelago of Seasons. Instead, people traded crops around with each other so people could both get materials and cook food. When the Eurinidis/Gaenðidias began trading with them before the beginning of their empire, there was an adoption of coins, which the locals had called Sinsong (Ship Moon), after their circular shape and origins from sea-faring raiders, with coins made from bronze. The term would later shorten to Shong for easier terminology.
